Horsemanship Clinics

Horsemanship is a lifelong journey

Coming Into Balance:
Exploring Leadership Through Horsemanship

Horsemanship and Leadership require us to constantly balance the proverbial carrot (kindness, compassion, encouragement, recognition) with the stick (holding others accountable, setting boundaries and expectations, having consequences). Many of us are good at one and struggle with the other and thus find our horsemanship and our leadership to be lacking.

How do we balance the two? How do we hold firm to our boundaries and expectations of others (both horse and people!) while maintaining relationships with kindness and encouragement?

Join us as we explore this question and offer tools to help you move towards balance in both your horsemanship and your leadership.

Equine Bodywork for the Horse Owner

Are you interested in learning more about your horse’s physical well-being and how you can help them feel at their best and maintain flexibility and suppleness?

Join us for a day of learning basic massage strokes, acupressure points, and stretches that can help your horse become more relaxed and thus more fluid in their movement.

Horsemanship Clinics

Are you looking for tools to improve your connection and communication with your horse?

Does your horse lack ground manners, pushing in on your space?

Do you have trouble loading your horse into the trailer?

Do you feel like you have to pull on your horse while riding to get where you want to go, or that you have to ‘peddle’ him down the trail?

If any of this sounds like you and your horse, join us for our horsemanship clinics. I teach and train my horses based on the natural horsemanship philosophy - working to understand how the horse thinks so that I can communicate with it more effectively.
